I was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, raised in Amarillo and went to school at Texas Tech. So basically I’m a Texan in an Oklahoman’s body.

 

I've written around 200 songs, I'm not sure exactly. I am a member of the Woody Guthrie, three chords and the truth school of songwriting.

 

I have tried very hard not to get trapped in one genre of music. I have written folk, blues, rock n roll and country songs and try to be limited only by my musical skills and my imagination.
